Fire your Career Before It Kills You!
Craig Nathanson, Vocational Coach

Brentwood, CA -- In mid-life most of us stop wanting jobs and careers. We onder what really matters in our life. We no longer get excited about climbing the ladder or even staying on it. So what can we do?

We can start to look inside ourselves and answer these questions: What is the purpose of my life? What do I value and how do I know if I am following what's important to me. Do I have a healthy perspective of myself? Have I examined all the possibilities for my life? Is my daily perspective one of negativity or creativity? What would my perfect vocational day be like? What am I doing right now to move toward what I want? Am I integrating all of me toward my goals at mid-life?

In mid-life, it is a time for deep thought and inner discovery. Hurry; fire your career before it kills you.

" People in midlife are sort of a forgotten crowd," said Craig Nathanson, a Brentwood, Calif., vocational coach and speaker specializing in helping people figure out what to do with their lives, especially those in their 30s, 40s and 50s. He also is writing a dissertation on why people change careers, for his Ph.D. from The Fielding Institute, in Santa Barbara, Calif."
